VID Company shipped electrical equipment for project 00840 vessels being built at the Krasnoye Sormovo shipyard. The delivery was completed ahead of schedule thanks to the introduction of new metalworking machines, which reduced the production cycle.

Damir Vafievich Umyarov, Deputy General Director of VID Company, delivered a presentation at a scientific and technical conference dedicated to the development of domestic shipbuilding and import substitution in the field of proton-exchange membrane fuel cells.

The event was held at the Krylov State Research Centre. On 17 and 18 February 2026, a major industry event took place. It was attended by dozens of specialist experts, heads of shipbuilding enterprises, delegates from the Russian Academy of Sciences and the country's leading universities, as well as representatives of industrial and engineering companies.

The presentation was entitled: “Electrical Power System of a Vessel with a Hydrogen Power Plant, Project 00393. Development, Manufacture, Testing.”
