- Renewal of RKO and RMRS certificates for the organization’s products
VID has successfully renewed the certificates of the Russian Classification Society (RKO) and the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) for a range of serially produced products. The list of certified products includes:
- junction boxes of the КСМ and КСП series;
- ШТПО transformers;
- ЯСМ and ЯСП junction boxes;
- ПМС starters.
The renewal of the certificates confirms that the products comply with the requirements of the maritime and river fleets and guarantees customers the reliability of equipment assessed by classification societies.
- Approval of technical documentation for control panels and uninterruptible power supplies
VID has approved with the Russian Classification Society the technical documentation for automation system control panels and uninterruptible power supplies. This decision makes it possible to organize serial production of these products with an RKO certificate, which will expand the solutions offered by the company and shorten delivery times for customers.
- Development of electronic boards for strain gauge indicators
VID Company specialists have completed the manufacture of electronic boards for strain gauge indicators. The new device makes it possible to digitize strain gauge signals and measure stress in the ship hull structure within a range of up to 200 MPa.
- Testing of power converters using fully controlled transistors
VID Company’s development team has completed testing of power converters using fully controlled transistors with a switching frequency of 50 kHz. The high switching frequency makes it possible to significantly reduce the dimensions of reactors and transformers, as well as reduce heat generation by power equipment.
The development is promising for use at autonomous facilities with low-voltage power installations rated up to 100 kW. The use of such converters opens up new possibilities for creating compact and energy-efficient power supply systems.
