VID is increasing production and reducing prices through digitalization and modernization

Our team has reviewed the initial results of the large-scale modernization of production processes in 2026. The implementation of digital solutions, expansion of the machine fleet, and launch of a full in-house production cycle have enabled the company to increase output severalfold, improve management transparency, and reduce product costs for customers.

According to software implementation specialist Valeriya Severova, one of the company’s key development areas has been compact and small sealed products. The primary focus has been on product quality, efficiency, and market affordability.

As part of its digitalization efforts, the company implemented new software solutions and equipped employees’ workstations with modern monitors and digital control systems. This has significantly accelerated production processes, made control more transparent, and reduced the amount of manual labor. Employees have begun processing information faster, while customers receive more accurate and prompt services.

Special attention was also given to procurement and logistics. By automating these processes, the company was able to optimize costs, revise its work with suppliers, and select more efficient interaction models. A further step forward was the launch of a full in-house production cycle, making it possible to flexibly manage the product range and production volumes.

According to company representatives, this is precisely what has made it possible to pursue lower prices for compact products and make them even more affordable for the market.

Production Manager Andrey Rakutin noted that the company is demonstrating steady growth in 2026. Output of panel products has approximately doubled, while production of small sealed products has increased by as much as 5–6 times.

This result was achieved through the implementation of digital tools and a new work organization system. Production capacity was redistributed among separate teams: each team has its own workstation and specific project assigned to it. This approach enables employees to avoid distractions from unrelated tasks and focus as fully as possible on their respective scope of work.

Major changes have also taken place in the metalworking workshop. Workshop Manager Aleksandr Osmankin demonstrated the upgraded area with modern plasma-cutting machines. The new equipment is used to manufacture semi-finished components, which then undergo further processing.

The КСМ-56 box was presented as an example of a finished product—a fully assembled item ready for delivery to the customer.

Following the modernization, the metalworking workshop now produces up to 3 thousand product units per month, representing significant growth compared with the same period last year. Company management emphasizes that increased productivity has had a positive effect not only on delivery times but also on employee compensation levels.

Against the current market backdrop, the company’s decision to reduce selling prices for a number of products is particularly noteworthy. The prices of boxes, filters, and transmission components have been reduced by more than 10%.

Company management emphasizes that the key step toward these results was the strategic decision made last year: a significant expansion of the machine fleet and the transfer of all metalworking previously outsourced to contractors back in-house.

Today, VID fully controls the production cycle, guarantees the timeframes stated in commercial offers, and confirms its readiness to cooperate with new customers.

The company is open to partnership and confidently continues its course toward development, efficiency, and product affordability for the market.
