VID Company LLC was founded in 2006. The company was established to provide river freight transportation and ship repair services.

Today, VID Company LLC develops design documentation and manufactures marine power distribution equipment, monitoring and automation systems, as well as marine LED luminaires and small sealed electrical equipment.

From 2006 to 2025, more than 300 ship sets of power distribution equipment were manufactured and delivered to shipbuilding yards for civilian vessels and Navy ships. The equipment is supplied with military acceptance (VP), certificates from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and the Russian Classification Society (RKO).

Since 2014, the company has had military acceptance (VP).

The company holds certificates of recognition:

  • RMRS Certificate of Compliance for the development of technical documentation, installation and commissioning of electrical and automation equipment (including the manufacture of marine power distribution equipment);
  • RKO Certificate of Recognition for design (development of technical documentation), manufacture and repair of marine power distribution equipment, installation and commissioning of marine electrical equipment, marine automation, marine fire detection alarm systems, and automation and control systems for marine technical equipment.

The production facility is located in an owned building (2,800 sq. m.) and includes:

  • an electrical assembly workshop with equipment and tools for manufacturing marine electrical equipment (electric, hydraulic and hand tools, measuring and test instruments, a test bench, and load equipment);
  • a design department;
  • a machining workshop with machine tools;
  • a components warehouse and a finished goods warehouse.

The company has its own quay wall, allowing products to be shipped by water transport.
