Today, the First Deputy Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maksim Viktorovich Shapilov, visited VID Company on a working visit.
During the meeting, the guest was presented with:
- the grounds of our enterprise and further plans for their development;
- the company’s production capabilities, specializing in marine electrical equipment;
- a new 500 m² workshop equipped for the full metalworking cycle;
- the product range—from electrical distribution equipment to marine LED luminaires.
Company representatives spoke about the following achievements:
- the company’s status as a defense-industrial complex enterprise (since 2014);
- implementation of a landmark project—the first hydrogen-powered vessel;
- contribution to import substitution in marine electrical equipment;
- human resources potential (the staff includes 5 Candidates of Sciences).
The business discussion covered current government support measures for industry:
- tax incentives for production modernization;
- digitalization subsidy programs;
- mechanisms for attracting and training personnel;
- opportunities to participate in specialized exhibitions;
- prospects for cooperation with major enterprises.
The visit was an important step in strengthening dialogue between regional businesses and government authorities.
