A new week—a chance to get acquainted with a new department at VID Company LLC
VID's Design Department prepares design and engineering documentation of any complexity, from junction boxes to main switchboards and control consoles. All drawings and diagrams, in turn, undergo internal approval in accordance with the standards of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RMRS) and the Russian River Register (RRR) (Russian Classification Society (RKO)).
Aleksandr Frolov is a design engineer and VID Company's key specialist in the design of main switchboards (ГРЩ) for marine power systems. He develops main switchboards that meet high reliability and safety requirements both on rivers and at sea.
Aleksandr has practiced aikido for around 4 years, an art that requires composure and clarity of mind in any situation. These qualities are invaluable when working on marine electrical equipment projects, where the safety of the crew and the successful operation of the entire vessel's machinery depend on the reliability and fail-safe performance of every solution.
Anna Spiryagina is a design engineer responsible for preparing precise technical specifications and accompanying technical and operating documentation at VID Company LLC. Her work ensures that complex engineering solutions comply with stringent marine equipment standards and the customer's commercial requirements.
In her spare time, Anna is building her own home. This project has taught her that, in both construction and engineering, a reliable result consists of three things: a flawless foundation (like her specifications), precise resource calculations (as in technical and commercial reports), and a long-term strategic vision.
Igor Sergeyev is a design engineer and an expert in 3D modeling and virtual prototyping of marine electrical switchboard systems. He participated in the project to create the first hydrogen-powered vessel, being responsible for the layout and spatial modeling of electrical equipment.
Winning a chess tournament in his student years gave him not only a trophy but also a unique skill—the ability to keep complex combinations and important data in mind. In his work, this helps him quickly analyze multiple parameters and standards during 3D equipment modeling, ensuring the project's impeccable compliance with all technical requirements.
Nikita Golov is a design engineer responsible for developing main switchboard schematics for modern vessels at VID Company. His designs are the foundation of the uninterrupted power supply for the entire ship, with every element engineered to operate in a marine environment.
To improve his ability to explain complex matters in simple terms, Nikita ran a thematic blog dedicated to events in the world of football for several years. He uses his ability to communicate information clearly to make complex diagrams and specifications understandable to the entire team, so that all project participants understand the essence of new engineering solutions.
Sincerely, your VID Company team
